Our courses don't just tick your CPD box; they are designed to support you to continuously develop your coaching practice. We have organised our programmes around three phases of coach development: Learn, Deepen and Lead. Experienced coaches will move back and forth between these stages throughout their career as they constantly learn new things, bring those into their practice and support others to develop. We also curate Learning Programmes, bringing together multiple courses that enhance your learning experience and deliver exceptional value for money.

A course that is based on rigorous, robust evidence. We invite you to question this evidence so you can confidently integrate science with your practice as a coach.

Faculty that are specialists in the area, so that you are always learning from the experts. We never deliver anyone else's content, as we believe that the value of a course lies in the deep knowledge that subject matter experts have.

A course mapped against ICF, EMCC, AC and BPS competencies and standards, so you can easily evidence the work you have done to maintain your credential. Where appropriate, we supply ICF CCEs and AC CPD hours.

The work will be relevant to your practice as a coach. While we love engaging in a good academic debate, as practicing coaches ourselves we know that coaches need to be able to translate the evidence-base into meaningful developments in their coaching practice.

Learn courses bring the academic evidence to experienced, practicing coaches to build their knowledge base and engagement with current thinking.

What happens in a Learn Course?

Learn courses combine the science behind a topic area with practical application. These are not passive lectures. We invite you to engage, question and reflect.

What are Deepen Courses?

Deepen courses are where the more demanding work happens — slower, more relational, more personally confronting than Learn Courses, we are focusing in on the inner life of the coach.

Why choose a Deepen Course?

ACE Deepen Courses are hard to find elsewhere: rigorous continuing development that takes the inner life of the coach seriously, not just their technique. Choose a Deepen Course to work on yourself to build your practice.

What happens in a Deepen Course?

Deepen asks coaches to stay genuinely open in territory they thought they'd already mapped. Expect to be challenged, to get uncomfortable and to genuinely develop your self-awareness and self-management.

What is a Lead Course?

Lead courses stretch coaches who are ready to support the development of others. Supervision, mentoring and education of coaches are all areas covered by Lead Courses.

Why choose a Lead Course?

Lead is for coaches who are ready to develop others. The move into Lead isn't about seniority; It's about taking responsibility for the development of the next generation of practitioners — passing on what you've received, with the same rigour you'd expect for yourself.

What happens on a Lead Course?

Lead courses cover the theory behind different developmental relationships, considering evidence relating to the differences and common factors when supervising, mentoring and educating other coaches. On a lead course, you can expect to deeply examine your own practice so as to better support others.

Rebecca brings extensive experience and deep expertise to her work facilitating learning with leaders and professionals across a wide range of roles, sectors, career stages, and cultural contexts. Her approach is highly adaptable, grounded in a strong evidence base, and carefully shaped around the goals, challenges, and realities of those she works with.

Those who work with Rebecca value her ability to create thoughtful, psychologically safe learning spaces that invite honest reflection, dialogue, and deep self awareness. She combines academic rigour with real world relevance, offering supportive challenge while remaining approachable and grounded in her style. Her facilitation is characterised by curiosity and humility, enabling participants to engage openly with complex issues without feeling judged or directed.

Rebecca is particularly skilled at guiding individuals and groups to notice patterns in their thinking, behaviour, and interactions that are often taken for granted. By helping people slow down and make sense of their experiences, she supports meaningful insight and learning that can be translated into purposeful action and sustained change.

Rebecca is a Professor in Coaching and Behaviour Change and is internationally recognised for her research on learning and development in coaching and leadership contexts. She has published extensively in leading academic journals on coaching effectiveness, alongside a second stream of research focused on equality, diversity, and inclusion, including inclusive leadership, group based learning for women in leadership, and menopause at work.

She is the author of three books, Coaching with Research in Mind, Key Topics in Coaching Psychology, and Simplifying Inclusive Leadership, which translate research evidence into practical insight for leaders, practitioners, and organisations. Outside work, Rebecca enjoys countryside walks, weightlifting, and time with her two sons. She also serves on the Advisory Board of a non profit CIC dedicated to making high quality coaching and development accessible to all.
