ACE's Evidence Club Subscription is a monthly live-webinar series designed to help you read, understand, and most importantly, translate the academic research around coaching into practical changes that improve your coaching practice.
Each month we introduce a piece of research, examine it together, breakdown the academic jargon and discuss how it could impact your coaching.

Hosted by ACE founders Verity or Holly, with occasional guest authors, we support you to confidently apply research findings to your practice.

ACE Evidence Club Learning Programme Contents

This learning programme operates as a rolling monthly subscription, providing access to live webinars and recorded content. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
The learning programme is available via subscription. When your subscription is active, you can access a link to the research paper discussed and the Microsoft Teams meeting for each upcoming webinar. If your subscription is cancelled then you will lose access to all upcoming webinars and any recorded content that forms part of this learning programme.
This learning programme subscription consists of a monthly 75 minute webinar, hosted on Microsoft Teams, on Thursdays from 5pm to 6.15pm UK time. Each month the webinar focuses on a different academic paper. The programme also includes access to recordings of previous webinars and ad-hoc bonus asynchronous content related to understanding academic evidence in coaching.
Each live webinar will be recorded. The recording is exclusively available to customers who subscribe to this Evidence Club Learning Programme. If you purchase a single webinar as a standalone course, you will not receive access to the recording.
You need a device capable of accessing the internet and joining a Microsoft Teams meeting to access this course.
ACE Evidence Club is authorised to provide 1.25 ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours and 1.25 Association for Coaching (AC) CPD hours per webinar. EMCC currently do not authorise CPD offerings in the same way as the ICF and AC. You may still submit this activity to support your EMCC credentialing.
A certificate of completion will be issued if you attend an entire live session. One word will be shown at the start of the session and a second word at the end of the session. These words together form a password that you will need to enter into the LearnWorlds platform in order to receive your certificate of completion. Requests for the password can be made to hello@advancedcoachingexcellence.com. The Microsoft Teams attendance record will be used to verify attendance and the password shared with participants who attended at least 70 of the 75 minute session. The attendance record constitutes ACE's definitive record of attendance. You will receive a separate certificate for each webinar attended. Watching a recording does not constitute completion and will not qualify you for a certificate.
This learning programme is suitable for practicing coaches. You do not need any particular accreditation or prior training.
You are invited and encouraged to participate by asking questions and making comments, but participation is not a requirement for course completion.
You must be 18 or over to purchase and attend this programme.
AI note takers are not permitted to join the meeting. If you require notes or a transcript of the session, or anything else to support your learning, please contact us on hello@advancedcoachingexcellence.com.
If you are a consumer, you normally have a legal right to cancel this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. If you choose to attend a course or receive course services before the end of this 14-day period, by clicking “Checkout” you expressly request that ACE begins providing the services before the cancellation period has expired. If you subsequently cancel during the cancellation period, ACE may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for services provided before cancellation, where permitted by law.

Rebecca is particularly skilled at guiding individuals and groups to notice patterns in their thinking, behaviour, and interactions that are often taken for granted. By helping people slow down and make sense of their experiences, she supports meaningful insight and learning that can be translated into purposeful action and sustained change.

Rebecca is a Professor in Coaching and Behaviour Change and is internationally recognised for her research on learning and development in coaching and leadership contexts. She has published extensively in leading academic journals on coaching effectiveness, alongside a second stream of research focused on equality, diversity, and inclusion, including inclusive leadership, group based learning for women in leadership, and menopause at work.

She is the author of three books, Coaching with Research in Mind, Key Topics in Coaching Psychology, and Simplifying Inclusive Leadership, which translate research evidence into practical insight for leaders, practitioners, and organisations. Outside work, Rebecca enjoys countryside walks, weightlifting, and time with her two sons. She also serves on the Advisory Board of a non profit CIC dedicated to making high quality coaching and development accessible to all.
